Dr. James Puccio, Dentist at All About Smiles

Dr. James C. Puccio, DDS

Hello, my name is Dr. James C. Puccio, DDS. I would like to share the dental philosophy I’ve developed over my years as a dentist.

I believe that dentistry can be affordable for everyone. You don’t always need the most expensive procedure to save a tooth.
I also believe that if it is not broken, don’t fix it. This means that if a filling, crown, or other restoration is still doing its job, then we do not have to replace it.
I also believe that conserving tooth structure is very important. People are living longer, and we want to make their teeth outlast them. Thus, with all my fillings, crowns, and procedures that require cutting on tooth structure, I will remove only what is necessary to provide a good product.
Along with conserving tooth structure, I believe in prevention. This means having dental cleanings twice each year and brushing and flossing two times a day. If any tooth is starting to decay or have problems, it can be caught early, and the fixes remain small.
Some small things can be fixed without numbing. Two new procedures I am doing are Lumineers, which require little or no tooth structure be removed and no numbing injections necessary and micro-implants, which are affordable ways of replacing teeth or stabilizing dentures.

I grew up in Terre Haute, Indiana. After college, I attended Indiana University School Of Dentistry. I received my DDS degree in 1992. I moved to Ohio in 1999, and I have been practicing dentistry in Middletown ever since.

Our great staff and patients make being a dentist enjoyable. Providing the best quality dental work is very important to me. Knowing that most people do not like to visit the dentist, it is equally important to me to put patients at ease during their dental visits.

When I’m not working, I spend a lot of time with my family. In my spare time, I love to play tennis and read.

Sarah Current, Front Office

I am part of the front office staff. I have worked with Dr. Puccio for eighteen years. Most of our staff members have worked together so long; we consider ourselves family. My favorite part of my job is forming relationships with our patients. I always look forward to seeing them upon return for an appointment and catching up on their lives.

When I’m not with my All About Smiles family, I’m with my husband, Mike, and our children, Miyah, Lilah, and Jack. As a family, we have a passion for music. We collect vinyl records and go to concerts together.

Kaylee Toner

Dental Assistant

I am originally from Michigan. I have lived in Ohio since 2013.

I’ve always had a passion for working with people. I was a hairstylist for 4 years before taking a leap of faith and starting my journey as a dental assistant and creating beautiful smiles. In my spare time I like to spend time with my pets and hanging out with my friends and family.

Nancy Drake, Dental Hygienist

I’ve lived and worked in Oklahoma, Alaska, Kentucky, and Ohio. I enjoy working with Dr. Puccio and Dr. Myers, where we all try to do what’s right for our patients — just like we would for our family members.

I was born and raised here in Middletown. I have a wonderful daughter and three beautiful grandkids.

Karrleah Freeze, Dental Hygienist

I have been working for Dr.Puccio since 1997. I have worked as both a dental assistant and dental hygienist. I graduated IMDT in 1997 and Sinclair Community College in 2009. One thing I love about my job is seeing how changing a patient’s smile improves their confidence.

In my spare time, I enjoy being with my husband and three children.

Brittney Beasley

Hi Everyone!

My name is Brittney and I’ve been a dental Assistant for five years now.

I love getting to know the patients and helping them become confident

in their smile along side Dr. Myers. Outside of work I spend most of my

time with my two children, whom I adore. We spend a lot of our time outside

and finding fun things to do. I also enjoy “lashing” and cooking.

I’m excited to be part of the All About Smiles team. I hope to see you soon!

Terry Bova, Dental Technician

My position at All About Smiles is staff dental technician. I do the dental lab work (complete dentures, etc.) for Dr. Puccio and Dr. Myers. I think I make a positive difference to the overall dental health of our patients by providing the finest prostheses I can fabricate. My guiding philosophy is, “Always make a dental appliance as if I were going to wear it.” I think having a positive attitude and treating our patients with respect is my contribution to the continued success of the practice.

I am happily married to my wife Donna for over 29 years. We have three grown children and our beloved beagle.

Front Desk Staff

I am a part of the front office staff, I have worked in the office for a little over a year now. I attended butler tech for dental assisting and graduated in 2017.

I really enjoy working the front desk and getting to know all of our patients. in my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, being outdoors, and listening to music.
